On the way back from a day’s Helifishing beyond the Daly River region we were faced with some imposing Thunderstorms.

We tried to go round, but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t get past. So in the end we had to land in a station paddock and wait it out.

This is a pic of the second chopper over the flood plains to the south of Darwin.
